The process in three steps

1. Analysis
Medical history & sporting goals
During the initial consultation, we'll gain a detailed understanding of your sporting history, any injuries, and your current physical fitness. We'll also discuss your sporting goals and collect data such as height, weight, body fat percentage, and blood pressure. We'll then discuss how the performance assessment will work and are available to answer any questions you may have.

2. Testing
Spiroergometry & BIA measurement
At the beginning of the performance diagnostics, we adjust our test bike (Wahoo Kickr Bike V2) or our treadmill (Kickr Run) to your physical condition. The performance test begins with low resistance on the bike or a slow running pace on the treadmill, and the load is gradually increased. We measure your respiratory gases (O² and CO²) and respiratory rate using a face mask, as well as your heart rate. Using the data obtained, we precisely determine your ventilatory thresholds VT1 and VT2 to determine your optimal training zones. The measured VO2 max is also a good training indicator, providing us with additional information for your training.
Using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), we also determine your body fat levels and muscle mass, broken down by body segments: torso, left arm, right arm, left leg, and right leg. The measurement also determines your visceral fat and metabolic age. This analysis provides us with valuable information about your body composition and provides in-depth insight into your training progress.

3. Evaluation
Training planning
After the performance diagnostics, we'll discuss the test results together and show you where your optimal training zones lie. We'll also work together to define your athletic goals for the coming weeks and develop your individual training strategy. From optimal fat burning to maximizing your performance by the last few percent. Depending on the plan selected, this can be done with or without a training plan.
