Description:

Cleat wedges are used to correct overpronation of the foot, improve proprioception, and provide greater stability and control while cycling. They can also be used to indirectly influence the knee angle, thus reducing lateral or medial knee pain caused by improper leg alignment.

Cleat wedges change the angle between the cleat and the boot, tilting the rider's boot/foot. Each wedge offers a 1-degree tilt, and multiple wedges can be combined to achieve the desired angle.

Ideally, the adjustment should be done as part of a professional bike fitting or pedal/performance analysis. However, cleat wedges can also be installed independently and carefully, provided the process is monitored and performed carefully.

Speedplay cleat wedges are 1° wedges for road bike pedals that stack up to 4°. They feature a non-slip surface and are compatible with all Speedplay or Wahoo road pedal systems, including Comp, Nano, Zero, Aero, and Powrlink power meter pedals.
