V2 MTB Shim/Wedge

Description:

The V2 MTB Wedge is specifically designed for use with the walk-able V2 MTB Shim. The V2 MTB Shim provides riders with shim stacks between 3 and 14mm, and the V2 Wedge completes the system by allowing up to 3 degrees of varus or valgus tilt within the construction.

The wedges are available in 1° and 2° variants and can be stacked and used in both varus and valgus orientations.

Technical data:

Cleat wedges are used to correct foot pronation, improve proprioception, and provide more stability and control when cycling. They are also used to indirectly alter knee angle to reduce lateral or medial knee pain associated with poor leg alignment.

Cleat wedges tilt the rider's shoe or foot by changing the angle between the cleat and the shoe. Each wedge provides 1 degree of tilt.

Wedges are best fitted as part of a bike fit or pedaling/performance analysis. However, they can also be carefully installed by riders themselves, provided this is done in a controlled manner.

The FORM V2 MTB Wedge is compatible with the V2 MTB Shim and its associated stacker kits.
