Description:
Forefoot wedges are used to correct overpronation of the foot, improve proprioception, and provide greater stability and control while cycling. They also indirectly alter the knee angle, thus reducing lateral or medial knee pain caused by improper leg alignment.
Forefoot wedges change the angle below the insole and, unlike cleat wedges, only affect the forefoot and not the entire shoe.
Ideally, the adjustment should be done as part of a bike fitting or pedal/performance analysis. However, forefoot wedges can also be applied independently and carefully, provided they are done in a controlled and careful manner.
Here you will find instructions on how to use the wedges
Technical data:
The FORM In-Shoe Forefoot Wedge is designed to be placed inside the shoe between the insole and the shoe. It provides a 1.5-degree varus inclination directly at the forefoot, improving proprioception and creating a more controlled in-shoe environment. Unlike other designs on the market, the FORM In-Shoe Wedge is designed to be toe-free. The advantages of this design are:
- A toeless design takes up no space in the toe area, preventing the “cramped” feeling that can occur with other wedges.
- Since the toes are not raised, the wedge sits more directly under the ball of the foot, which improves proprioception.
- Without the need to push the wedge all the way to the toe of the shoe, it can be positioned more precisely directly under the ball of the foot.
The wedge is available in one size and can be individually cut to fit different shoe widths.
